Overview
WAAC was first registered back on Epoch 211 and has consistently minted 87 total lifetime blocks (thanks in part to a $3m IOG delegation). It is currently a member/ curator of the Cardano Bare Metal Alliance.
WAAC was also one of Huat’s earlier followers and we are thankful for their support in helping new pools.
WAAC is currently charging a fee of 340Ada +3%. Help WAAC regain their consistency in block production!
Why them?
As a member/curator of the bare metal cardano alliance, a 109-member strong community which focuses on Cardano SPOs who operate their stake pool using at least one bare metal server. As a collective, they increase the resiliency of the Cardano blockchain network by being geophysically spread out globally.
WAAC is currently curating/ working to enable a Portfolio Delegation option in Daedalus and Yoroi wallets. This is beneficial to both WAAC and the other 108 members within the alliance.
WAAC also runs a very informative website that are helpful for SPOs/ new delegators. For example, there is a staking calculator for a rough estimation of the rewards you would receive based on your stake.
Despite losing a heavy chunk of their active stake, WAAC continues to be active on their social platforms, sharing news and updates on the Cardano ecosystem. They continue to be committed towards decentralization and resilience of the Cardano blockchain.
