Overview
ALICE was first registered back on Epoch 270 and is currently making its way towards minting its first block. The SPO was set up by Nik, an experienced Cloud Systems Engineer for a prominent San Fran tech company.
The pool currently has 12 delegators with an active stake of $25k. The owner has pledged 7.5k ADA and is actively looking for ways to contribute to the Cardano/ global community at large. The pool is currently charging a fee of 340Ada +0.9%.
Help ALICE mint its first block and contribute towards a healthy decentralized ecosystem!
Why them?
Going back to the basis of this Initiative (which was to help new & deserving SPO towards minting their first block), HUAT believes that this would contribute towards a healthy decentralized ecosystem, with nodes and operators spread across globally. In some ways, we hope that our initiative is a pay-it-forward and SPOs showcased would eventually be successful enough to help others.
ALICE contacted us a while ago on the possibility of showcasing them and through our short conversations, affirmed the above. We hope this showcase would help them just as it may had helped others.
Since we last conversed, ALICE has setup a tik tok channel sharing information on gaming NFTs and the Cardano ecosytem. With an outreach of 12-14k viewers (even for a new channel), this shows that there is a potential for impactful short videos to share the workings of Cardano.
